Industrial Relation Specialist
About the Role
As an Industrial Relation at PT Eigerindo MPI, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining harmonious industrial relations between the company and employees in accordance with applicable labor laws and regulations. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, handling employee relations issues, managing disciplinary actions, and supporting a fair and constructive work environment. You will work closely with management, employees, and external stakeholders (such as labor offices and unions) to minimize industrial disputes and support stable, productive business operations.
In this role, you will get to
- Manage and maintain effective industrial relations between the company and employees.
- Ensure company compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations, including employment agreements, company regulations, and collective labor agreements (if applicable).
- Handle employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, warnings, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Prepare, review, and update Company Regulations (PP)
- Coordinate with external parties such as Manpower Office (Disnaker) and related institutions.
- Support and manage industrial dispute resolution processes, including bipartite, mediation, conciliation, and legal proceedings if required.
- Monitor and advise management on industrial relations risks and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper documentation related to industrial relations cases and compliance requirements.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee discipline, policy socialization, and awareness of labor regulations.
What you will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Relations or a related HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in handling employee disputes, disciplinary processes, and negotiations.
- Familiar with Company Regulation (PP) and Government Regulation processes.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Willing to work on-site at Eigerindo MPI Head Office, Kab. Bandung
