Job Purpose:

As an Offline Store Expansion Officer at EIGER, your mission is to spearhead the growth and expansion of our physical store network. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential store locations, managing site acquisition processes, and overseeing the development of new retail spaces. Your role is crucial in ensuring that EIGER continues to expand its footprint in key markets, delivering exceptional shopping experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify high-potential areas for new store locations. Analyze market trends, demographic data, and competitor presence to make informed site selection decisions.
  2. Site Evaluation: Assess potential store sites based on various factors, including foot traffic, accessibility, visibility, and alignment with brand standards. Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to determine suitability.
  3. Negotiations and Acquisitions: Lead negotiations with property owners, landlords, and real estate agents to secure favorable lease terms and conditions. Manage the acquisition process from initial contact to final agreement.
  4. Project Management: Oversee the development and opening of new stores, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to EIGER’s quality standards.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all new store openings comply with local regulations, zoning laws, and corporate policies. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for store construction and operation.
  6. Financial Analysis: Prepare financial models and projections to assess the potential return on investment for new store locations. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  7. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the company’s expansion strategy, aligning new store openings with overall business objectives. Identify opportunities for growth and recommend strategic initiatives.
  8. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of site evaluations, negotiations, project timelines, and financial analyses. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on the progress of expansion projects.

What you will Need to Succeed :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in retail expansion, site acquisition, or real estate management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and financial analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and zoning laws related to retail operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to travel as needed to evaluate potential sites and manage projects.
  • Passion for retail and a keen interest in EIGER’s brand and products.
